I love that Winnipeg is full of creative entrepreneurs. The other beauty about it is that when something local gets started, our very supportive Peg city folks normally like to give a new, more public emergence the benefit of the doubt. We help it hit the ground running & these ideas & new local features get their chance to fly.
I expect for Coal and Canary’s handmade & delectable sounding candles, there will be soaring.
~What are they?~
“Winnipeg’s newest and hottest candle company specializing in exclusive small batch, hand-poured candles for the hip and modern professional.”
~Where can you see their products online?~
~Where can you purchase their unique products?~
Here & beginning next week at the local St. Boniface coffee shop, Café Postal (Sept. 30th)
With names such as “gimmie some sugar’, ‘the cider made me do it’ & ‘chunky knit sweater’, these seasonally titled wax jars of joy make me excited to light my first one & burn it until they (hopefully) surprise us with their next weather inspired scents! In the meantime this one below may help me curb the upcoming & always dreaded holiday padding….by that I mean pounds. Our winters are very cold & we need a little extra to survive…right?
Visit their site to learn more about the products and the creators, Tom & Amanda. The name already has a hint of wings to it. It just needs the lift. Of course all of these wonderful photos by Brittany Mahood Photography help show the elegant sweetness of the candles too.
